Siemens proposed a reorganisation of its structure in Madrid, based on grouping facilities and services in a common building. The intervention presented is its new Corporate Headquarters, and an extension of its original premises in Tres Cantos. It is a complex with considerable presence and functionality, which has doubled its capacity in offices and services.

The project consisted of refurbishing the existing complex and extending it with two new adjoining modules in a U shape, which have a glazed, roofed interconnection with the current main building. The connection zone between the new extension and the original building, with its glazed roof of spectacular dimensions, provides a spatial perception that is without doubt the new headquarters’ key mark of identity.
