The Modification of the Partial Interior Refurbishment Plan retains the general spirit of the initial proposal, adapting itself to an urban model of a consolidated city and with a greater emphasis on the cornice border facing north-east, and solving the transition with the Parque Rodríguez Sahagún, at a much lower level than the neighbourhood itself. The proposal organises the architectures, includes commercial premises for small businesses, plans for a “cornice pedestrian walk”, weather-proofs the walk ways, promotes the views and considerably improves the road network and its connection.
It recovers routes through green areas, promotes areas for walking, consolidates a “linear park” with native species, and finally creates a space that is a “true balcony at this end of the Tetuán neighbourhood over the park”.
