TOUZA ARQUITECTOS has been developing its work as a professional studio since 1974, encompassing all fields of architecture in general (residential buildings, social housing, rehabilitation of historic and artistic buildings, healthcare and social care centers, hotels, university campuses, etc.) as well as interior design and urban planning.
Founded by the architect and urban planner Julio Touza Rodríguez, in its 50-year history, the studio has generated a portfolio of over 2,500 projects, with a particular focus on residential, office and corporate headquarters, commercial buildings, sports complexes, and hotel projects.
The studio’s work is guided by the concept of architecture as a service to society, with the ultimate goal of providing well-being to people and contributing to the balance of their environment, without neglecting that “something more” that our discipline can add once technical and functional needs are met: beauty.
More than 60 professionals under the same vision
TOUZA ARQUITECTOS comprises a team of over 60 professionals. The firm has been led since its inception by architect Julio Touza Rodríguez. Under his supervision, the professional team includes more than thirty architects. This group forms the core of the firm’s project production.
The Technical Department, composed of building engineers, is responsible for the construction and technological development of these projects. Both teams work together to monitor the projects the firm has underway, coordinate health and safety, and ensure quality control for both the projects and the construction and quality assurance.
Interior design and decoration projects are handled by a team of interior designers. The graphic production and data processing for all of the aforementioned tasks are carried out in the Production Department, whose human resources coordination is managed by a sociologist, and whose IT and physical resources management is handled by a computer engineer.

Throughout its history, the Studio has received commissions from all types of clients and institutions, both public and private. From large corporations and investment funds to public entities, social housing cooperatives, and private developers, the Studio’s diverse clientele demonstrates its varied work and reflects the recognition of its capabilities and track record.
Our clients include major multinationals such as Siemens, GlaxoSmithKline, Deutsche Bank, and Grupo CPS; private developers such as Inmoglaciar, Neinor Homes, Aedas Homes, Colonial, Gestilar, 3M, Aelca, and Premier; institutions such as the Madrid City Council, the Rivas City Council, and the Xunta de Galicia (Regional Government of Galicia); private and international investors such as Aerium, Omega Capital, Gran Roque, 1810 Capital, and Stoneweg; and numerous cooperative management companies (Domo, Serprocol, Top Gestión, Poscam, etc.).
