This project is planned over three plots of land measuring a total of 5,000m2 located on the north-east corner of a larger area where the Town Hall of Rivas plans for a large Sports Complex. Thus it presents a strategic location and is configured as an important element for commercial services, hospitality, restaurants, textile, fashion, sports, family leisure…. The project is designed as a “Linear Commercial Centre” like an elongated commercial gallery, where all premises have a double exterior façade and are terraced, with two or more being grouped into a larger store, or with the stores being divided into smaller premises…The establishments on the top floor occupy only part of the total surface area of the ground floor, and are designed as duplex establishments, connected to premises with direct access to the lower floor and their own staircase, and which will also have a terrace, thus promoting their use as restaurants, large boutique-type clothes shops, or even as a children’s play area…They are, therefore, two symmetrical buildings, whose façades (those facing each other) are inclined, which promotes their architectonic image creating a significant ensemble which, without a doubt, will become an icon of reference.

Each building has changing rooms for association staff, storage rooms and areas for installations and bathrooms in the basement. The ground floor, similar in both architectures, presents the premises in a linear layout, with access from both fronts or façades. The higher levels are practically identical, and their design promotes and highlights the architecture of the whole. Thus an exterior image is achieved that stands out due to its significant size and is highlighted with architectonic “accents” and textured with gestures of shape and material, such as the articulation of the metallic skin that folds in on itself creating a cantilever porch that embraces all of the premises with its cover, thus unifying their diversity and colour with a unique and common “packaging”… The aesthetic result has a certain impact, but retains its balance: an image that will not go unnoticed due to its iconic nature and which will give strength, due to its presence and uniqueness, to the commercial assets it contains.
